Christmas time is just around the corner and here is where I shall write my complaint towards the holidays. I am in a love-hate relationship with holidays. Yes, this includes you Presidents Day! Not really. I am just talking about the commercialized, "biggy", thankful holidays. Such as Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. etc. etc. One might ask: Why, Alex, do you have such a relationship with these holidays? I have a multitude of reasons about why I dislike/like these holidays. They are found below!

My Childhood

I do not remember much about my childhood, ranging from birth until 7th grade. However, lately things have been triggering sudden flashbacks to pop up in my life and I feel like jotting them down. This post here shall be what I remember of my childhood to date. In the future, you can expect posts titled flashback as I remember more about my past. Some of which is happening because I actually found some pictures of my childhood that I did not know we even had. I am trying to make myself more like an open book and don't want to hide anymore secrets from people. I am starting off this goal by blogging about my childhood.

     Adversity, slaying the fierce dragon, saving the world, all are a part of one hero's journey. Although it is not the same for my journey I would say mine is not unlike it, respectively. My journey being that of moving from adolescence to a young adult. A journey, I am proud to say is nearly at its end.
